Floodwater in the northern province Phayao has receded, prompting provincial governor Narongsak Osotthanakorn, as he inspected the damage on Thursday morning, to instruct disaster prevention and mitigation officials along with local administrators to aid the residents in clearing away debris and repairing flood-damaged roads and homes.
